Most Likely To is the party game that needs the least explaining of any on this site. A prompt appears — most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse, most likely to be late to their own wedding — everybody votes for whoever it describes, and the votes come out together.
The game is not the voting, it is the second after. Nobody minds being voted most likely to become famous. It is the four-nil landslide on "most likely to argue with a self-checkout machine" that gets the room, and the fact that the person it lands on almost always agrees.
Votes stay hidden until the reveal, deliberately. A live tally would turn every round into a bandwagon, and the whole point is that everyone decides independently and then finds out they all thought the same thing.
How to play Most Likely To
- 1Create a room and share the 6-letter code. Three or more players.
- 2A prompt appears on everyone's screen at the same time.
- 3Vote for the player it describes. You can vote for yourself, and often that is the right answer.
- 4Nobody sees who anyone voted for until everyone has voted or the clock runs out.
- 5The votes are revealed together, with the count next to each name. A point per vote received.
- 6The host can reveal early or skip a prompt from the referee bar.
Most Likely To FAQ
How many people do you need?+
Three at a minimum, and it gets better with more — six to ten is the sweet spot, because a landslide needs enough voters to be a landslide.
Can you vote for yourself?+
Yes, and it is often the funniest answer. It also stops the game being purely something done to other people.
Can everyone see who I voted for?+
Not until the reveal. During voting the screen shows who has voted, never what they voted — a running tally would just create a bandwagon.
Is it suitable for family?+
The default pack is written to be. There is a separate 18+ pack the host can switch on for an adult group, and it stays off unless somebody deliberately turns it on.
How long does a game take?+
About fifteen minutes for ten rounds with six people. The host sets the number of rounds before starting.
