Word Chain is the fast-paced vocabulary game where each player's word must begin with the last letter of the previous one. Simple to explain, impossible to stop playing.
The pressure builds round by round — hesitate too long, repeat a used word, or submit an invalid one and you lose that round. The last player standing wins.
How to play Word Chain
- 1Start a room and get 2 or more friends to join.
- 2The first player types any word to kick things off.
- 3The next player must type a word starting with the last letter of that word.
- 4Words cannot be repeated — the game tracks every word used.
- 5Run out of time or submit an invalid/used word and you lose the round.

Any real common English word works. Proper nouns and abbreviations are not allowed.
How long do you have to answer?+
Each player has a timer per turn. Running out of time counts as a loss for that round.
